BECOMING A PILOT

My career is going to be a pilot. The cluster that the job is in is Transportation, Distribution & Logistics. I choose to be a pilot because I could meet new people. Also It could be a lot of fun.

Being a pilot I would have to have bachelors degree.They are in aircraft operations, aviation, aeronautical engineering, or other related fields. I would have to gain a commercial pilots license. I also would need 1,500 hours of flight experience. Then I would have to go to commercial pilot school and train for 6-8 weeks.

Even though I work inside of a plane The plane is outside. I work outside. I do field work because airplane's don't have offices. I will be in several different spots because being a pilot means you go everywhere. I will be able to do independent work and group work. I would have to wear a navy blue uniform with three stripes and blazer arms.

There will only be a 5 percent increase in American pilots in 2024.The salary will be $147,890 per year. Factors that will increase your advancement of being a pilot is your resume, your history, and your experience. Factors that might lower your chances of advancing in being a pilot is your education, school, and work effort.

In conclusion I will be able to discover new things. I think this could be a good job for people who like to take adventures like me. Whenever I become a pilot, I will be able to glide through the air and fly free!
