Pittman-Robertson Act

This act helps by.....

• Protecting animals from becoming extinct
• stopping excessive hunting pressure & habitat degradtion
• provides funds to each state to manage these animals and their habitats
• Some of these animals include White tales deer, wild turkey, and Wood ducks

Influence
The Pittman–Robertson Act was so successful that in the 1950s, a similar act was written for fish.
