🍕 In 1912, Joe's Pizza Pies opened in Trenton, New Jersey. Twelve years later, Anthony Pero opened Totono's in Coney Island.

🍕 Pizza spread to other countries during World War II. Italian Immigrants sold pizza at their stores, and the first pizzeria was opened in 1905 by Gennuado Lombardi in New York City.

Egyptians ate bread topped with olive oil and native spices.
