PLANETS

It takes disks of gas, rock, and dust circling around other stars for a planet to form. Volunteers have been studying since 2014, by looking at close up pictures of solar systems as the protoplanetary disks form. This is a natural disaster because we don’t do anything to make the gas, rock, and dust form around the stars.

One of the most interesting finds so far was where the Disk Detectives team revealed that volunteers had spotted a new brown dwarf just 100 parsecs from our sun, per the meeting that the American Astronomical Society had in June. Astronomers found 10 new planets orbiting others stars than our sun. it is bringing the number to almost 50. They have seen tilted disks of gas and dust around binary star systems.

Once it have formed and the scientist find more information about it and what they all contain, it will help us better understand the future planets and how they will play in our lives.

Once we find more how they form and what they contain we could see if they contain the essentials for a human to live. I believe it changes people’s way of thinking cause it may be another option for one to live one day.

I think this important because it could be a new way of living for some, or as they keep studying it they will be able to see what’s they look like and what they provide.
