CELL

  • a membrane covered structure that contains all of the materials necessary for life. all living things are made of cells!

CELL MEMBRANE

  • a thin semi-permeable layer that controls what goes in and out of the cell- like a gate keeper!

CELL WALL

  • only located in plant cells, gives the plant structure.

CHLOROPLASTS

  • an organelle* found in plant cells which photosynthesis occours

CYTOPLASM

  • the jelly like inner part of the cell that suspends the organelles

NUCLEUS

  • usually the largest organelle in a cell, contains DNA material. Also known as the brain of the cell. I guess cells are more like us than we think!

  • specialized structure within a cell that preforms a specific function which enables the cell to live and reproduce.
