• Low concentrations can causes cells to get longer
• High concentrations can have the opposite effect
• Keeps fruit from dropping off the plant

GIBBERELLINS

• Cause cell elongation
• Increase enzyme production
• Effects seed germination
• Transported invascular tissue

ETHYLENE

• Composed of two carbon and four hydrogen atoms
• Affects the ripening of plants
• Causes complex carbohydrates to break down into simple sugars

CYTOKININS

• Growth inducing
• Produced in rapidly dividing cells
• Promotes cell division by stimulating the production of proteins
• Uses proteins for mitosis and cytokinesis
