Protection
Platypuses have spurs

  • spurs for protection
  • because if a predator comes they can inject poison from their spurs.

  • there are little dots on their bill that send out electro impulses
  • this means that the platypus gets a picture of its surroundings so it can see where it's going underwater or in a burrow
