PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Pluto was discovered in 1930 by an astronomer from the United States.
Pluto is only 2,3000km wide, which is about half the width of the United States.
Pluto is called a "dwarf planet" because it's so small.
It takes 248 years for Pluto to orbit the Sun.
One day on Pluto is about 6 1/2 days on Earth.
Charon is about half the size of Pluto, and Eigth the mass.
Hydra & Nix are very small, less than 160km wide.
Pluto's orbit is shaped like an oval, it's tilted, and the Sun is not in the middle.
There are no known rings around Pluto, or any other dwarf planets.
Pluto has got a thin atmosphere, that expand when it gets closer to the Sun and collapse as it gets farther away.
Pluto was counted as an ordinairy Planet until 2009, when we started calling it a Dwarf planet.
When Pluto was counted as a Planet, it was the ninth planet from the Sun.
