BABY POLAR BEAR

Polar bears live in the circumpolar north in areas where they can hunt seals.

CANADA,the U.S. (Alaska), Greenland, Russia, and Norway

BEHAVIORS

  • Polar bears generally sleep whenever they are not hunting.
  • Polar bears can run as fast as 40 kilometres per hour
  • They walk with their front paws swinging outwards

FOOD SOURCE

  • They eat any animals they can get.

Reproduction

  • Female polar bears reach sexual maturity at about four to five years.
  • Male polar bears reach sexual maturity at about six years.
