PRESENTATION OUTLINE
IDEOLOGY
- A basic set of political beliefs about the roles of government and the individual in society.
Slide 1) I choose this picture because it’s showing both sides and it’s also shows even if your voting for different sides you can still see the good or bad in the picture.
CONSERVATISM
- An ideology favoring a limited role for government and more private initiative by nongovernmental groups in efforts to solve society’s problems

LIBERALISM
- An ideology favoring an active role for government in efforts to society’s problems

- An ideology at the middle of the political spectrum that combines elements of both liberal and conservative thought

- An independent is variously defined as a voter who votes for candidates on issues rather than on the basis of a political ideology or partisanship

- A person who applies for a job or is nominated for election
