Andy Warhol made a big impact on pop art by making the Marylyn Munrow painting.
He was basically the one who made pop art popular.

Roy Litchenstien was known for his comic strip-like paintings.
He was well known in pop art history.

RICHARD HAMILTON
Richard Hamilton made the painting, " Just what is it that makes today's homes so different, so appealing?"
He was very famous for this pop art painting.

POP ART'S PURPOSE
Like we said, pop art is art based on mass media and modern popular culture.
Pop art helps you know what "was in" and what "was out" back then.
Like how tomato soup was popular back then cause it was easy to make.
Or like how Marylyn Munrow was such an idol at those times.
