There are negative effects of rapid population growth, threat to biodiversity and global warming are examples.

With more and more people, we need more space to live. So, we have to make room by deforestation, which leads to many extinct animals.

With more people in the world, the need for automobiles and energy is needed. This causes pollution and pollution leads to rise of global temperature.

Even with a slight increase of three degrees Celsius, to the Earth's atmosphere can pose major threats to the world. Sea levels would rise due to melting of glaciers
