The Roman god version of Poseidon is Neptune.
Poseidon’s parents are Cronus and Rhea. His siblings are Hades, Demeter, Hestia, Hera, and Zeus.
Poseidon’s wife is Amphitrite and their children are Theseus, Triton, Polyphemus, Belus, Agenor, Nereus, Atlas.t
Poseidon had his very own palace made of gems and coral on the ocean floor but he spent more time at mount Olympus than his own home.
Poseidon’s symbol is his trident which holds most, to all, of his power.
Some legends say that Poseidon was swallowed by Cronus along with his siblings, but other legends say that he was not because his mother hid him in a herd of lambs.

One of Poseidon’s weakness’ was his temper. He was notorious for being very ill tempered and very vengeful, these traits greatly threatened his relationship with his family and the people who worshiped him.
