Adolf Hitler and his nationalist socialist (Nazi party) rearmed their nation
After he became Reich Chancellor in 1933, Hitler swiftly consolidated power
Hitler believed that the German army had been betrayed by civilian leaders and Marxists.

Hitler returned to Munich and continued to work for the military as an intelligence officer.

JOSEPH STALIN AND THE PACT
Hitler and Soviet Union leader , Joseph Stalin , signed the German Soviet Nonaggression Pact.
1939, Hitler invaded Poland from the west ; later France and Great Britain declared war on Germany because of this action the Hitler pulled.

Conflict that involved virtually every part of the world during the years 1939-1945
The war was in many respects , a continuation after an uneasy 20-year hiatus , of the disputes left unsettled by World War 1
This war would take more lives and property around the world
April 9 , 1940 , Germany simultaneously invaded Norway and occupied Denmark
May 10 , German forces swept through Belgium and the Netherlands in what became Known as " Blitzkrieg "
