All Summer in a Day: It always rains except 1hr/ 7yrs. kids locked Margot in a closet, didn't get to see the sun.
Terrible Things: The terrible things would come and take the animals, one by one until there was no one left except the rabbit who hid like a rock.

SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES

• They both share the same topic, "taken".
• They're both 3rd Person.
• They have different genres. All Summer in a Day is science fiction. Terrible Things is an allegory based on true events.
