  • Whitish or pale buff below with fine spots
  • Streaks and a narrow brow stripe and dark wings linings

  • Barren mountains
  • Dry plains
  • Prairies

WHAT DOES THE PRAIRIE FALCON EAT?

  • Mostly other small birds
  • Ground squirrels and rabbits

WHAT IS THE PRAIRIE FALCONS LIFECYCLE?

  • 4-5 white or pinkish eggs, blotched with brow
  • Can start breeding at about 2 years old.
  • The female performs most of the incubation it lasts about 31 days.
  • The young leave the nest at about 38 days.
