GERMAN DEPRESSION

The Great Depression was originally just a crisis in the United States but with the effects of WWI, it hit everywhere in no time. Including Germany.

After WWI Germany owed their allies billions of euros. Due to the expenses of the war it was an unfortunate time for Germany, therefore they could not afford to pay their dues. Between Sep. 1928 and Jan. 1933 6,100,000 Germans were unemployed.

In the year 1932 Hitler was elected chancellor of Germany in hopes to restore the economy, and end The German Depression.

THE ARYAN RACE

Contrary to popular belief, Aryans were NOT! Nazis. Aryans were believed to be mythical German heroes with blonde hair and blue eyes.

The Nazis (Hitler more specifically) believed that the Aryans had the duty and honor to rule the world.

Non-Aryans were considered impure and evil.
