PREJUDICE

  • Preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience Def. 1 www.google.com
  • In other words prejudice means to "pre-judge" someone before you know them
  • One example of this is when Japanese people were put in camps in WWII in America
  • Also women were thought not smart enough or worthy to vote till 1918
  • An additional example is that some states still do not allow same-sex marriage but some do.
