  • Based on race,religion, customs and ect.

WHAT MAKES PEOPLE PREJUDICE?

  • Some people were raised to believe it is right.
  • Beliefs are passed down by generations
  • But people often change their beliefs when they
  • begin to think for themsevles.

RACISM IN THE BOOK

  • Tom Robinson's case
  • The lynch mob tried to kill Tom before his trial
  • Kids taunting Atticus' children.

"My folks said your daddy was a digrace an' that nigger oughta hang from the water-tank!" -Cecil Jacobs

That quote showed how even with as young as Cecil was racism can be from any age range, and how Atticus' children were bullied for not believing in racism .
