GEORGE WASHINTON

PRECIDENTS
George Washington started 9 precedences set by him. The first one is that there is neutrality in foreign affair. Next there is two terms of presidency and he was the first one to do that precedent. Then there is use of force to enforce the law. Also there is calling the cabinet to offer advice. Then how to address the president. Finally first to be inaugurated, first to make inauguration speech, being called Mr. President and farewell address.

XYZ AFFAIR
The XYZ affair was were John Adams sent three men to set peace with France. These three men were Elbridge Gerry, Charles Cotesworth Pinckney, and John Marshall. John Adams specifically picked these three men to go on the journey because of there skills and there level with the skills.

THOMAS JEFRERSON

LOUISIANA PURCHASE
While Thomas Jefferson was in office France and Spain were arguing about the Louisiana land and France sold it to Spain then later took it back. The French wanted to build an empire, but there plans were shortly ruined after a while. Then the French sold the land to the U.S for almost a total of 15 million dollars. President Jefferson bought the land in order to limit the French borders and a safer and easier trade with the Mississippi River with New Orleans.

JAMES MADISON

WAR OF 1812
James Madison had a hard choice with war and government while he was in office. In 1812 France and British were going to war and they both wanted goods and weapons and wanted U.S help with the war. Also France was attacking our ships in the ocean and sea and raided them. James Madison had to choose between being attacked if we chose the wrong side or going into big government issues.

MONROE DOCTRINE
The Monroe doctrine was were the U.S or north America and South America were being taken over by Europe so North America and South America were together going to defend there land together and keep it away from Europe.

JOHN QUINCY ADAMS

THE AMERICAN SYSTEM
The American system is were we created or John Q Adams created 3 major reinforce parts is to put tax on goods to protect and promote U.S industries. Then there's to make a national bank to foster money. Finally there is federal subsidies for roads, canals, and other internal improvements to develop profitable markets for agriculture.

ANDREW JACKSON

Nullification Crisis
Andrew Jackson wanted their land back from the Indians so he made a fake treated or pretended to make one and said when the Indians are moved out they will be provided with clothes and food also a new place to live. The Indians were very upset that none of that was true.
