  • 1,350,000 people will arrive at the ER or Ben treated for a nervous system injury annually.
  • Most injuries occur in Auto related incidents.
  • It takes months fin not years for victims to regain a portion of their former
  • Mobility.
  • A slight injury To any portion of the spine can cause many other related injuries through the body such as loss of ROM in a limb or difficulties in daily functions

When a brain bleed occurs due to a fracture or trauma, it is known as Subdermal Hematoma and is under the Dura Mater.

  • Kneel at patients hea
  • Remove Face shiel
  • Stabilize head at the jawline
  • Partner Beginsto slowly remove the helmet
  • Stopshalfway
  • Partner will then hold head steadywith hand
  • You continue not remove helme
  • C-spine and backboard ASAP
