French and Indian War

• Successfully Great Britain win the war against the French.
• Britain were fighting for the Ohio valley, so colonists could move west of the Apalachain mountains.

The Proclamation Line

• King George makes a line in between the Apalachian mountains(West).
• Colonists can't go past that land, because the land is for the Indians.
• Settlers ignore the king and settle west of the mountains
