INTRODUCTION

  • Cerebral palsy is a group of permanent movement disorder that appear in early childhood.
  • Cerebral Palsy is caused by abnormal development or damage to parts of the brain that control the movement, balance, and posture.

BODY 1

  • My cousin has this disability. She is 15 now. She can walk, but she wobbled and falls. She can't talk much. She says ReRe for Angel. She also slobbers. People stare at her and give her dirty looks. But, she has the kindest heart. She just smiles and waves.

BODY 2

  • Cerebral means having to deal with the brain. Palsy means weakness or problems with using the brain.
  • It can occur stuff muscles , uncontrollable movements , poor balance and coordination.
  • There are 4 main types of CP: Spastic Cerebral Palsy, Dyskinetic Cerebral Palsy, Ataxic Cerebral Palsy, Mixed Cerebral Palsy.

BODY 3

  • Everyone with CP have problems with movements and posture.
  • Many also have related conditions like intellectual disability, seizures, problems with vision, hearing, talking, scoliosis or joint problems.

CONCLUSION

  • Cerebral palsy is a crazy disease. Imagine not being able to walk or talk. Imagine being stared at and judge for something you have no control over. It would suck, right? And what sucks even more is, you only live till 30-70 years old. There is no cure for this disease.
