The main character who commited the crime was Janet Napoles she is the alleged "Mastermind". she was the one who came up to the senators and planned the scam along with other people to do it

The pork barrel scam is when a group of public officials fake government projects and steal money from the pork barrel for their personal use!!!(our taxes)

They made fake documents, projects and they worked together to steal the money they allegedly stole 10 billion pesos they were doing this for a long time already since before2012 only now they were reported by janet napoles's worker benhur luy the main "whistleblower"

All the money they have stolen could have been used to make better roads, public schools, hospitals, for relief goods etc
