PROTISTA CHARACTERISTICS

  • They are simple eukaryotic organisms
  • Most are unicellular organisms
  • They can be heterotrophic or autotrophic
  • Most live in water, moist soil, or the body of humans and plants
  • Split into three categories: plant like protists fungi like protists and human like protists

NON-CHARACTERISTICS OF PROTISTA

  • If it lived in a area that wasn't moist or wet
  • If it wasn't eukaryotic.
  • If they didn't have a mitochondria or chloroplast

FUNGI

CHARACTERISTICS

  • It is a eukaryotic organsim
  • The nuclei of the fungi is very small.
  • Fungi are heterotrophic organisms.
  • They are non-vascular organisms.
  • Decomposer

NON-CHARACTERISTICS

  • If it has chlorophyll
  • If it has leaves or a stem
  • If it is mobile.
