Hear, my son, your father’s instruction, and reject not your mother’s teaching; (‭Proverbs‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬ NABRE)

This proverb is talking about how we always need to listen. Especially to those wiser and older. It also states that we should respect our parents.

Saving you from a stranger, from a foreign woman with her smooth words, (‭Proverbs‬ ‭2‬:‭16‬ NABRE)

This proverb relates to teenagers because it especially easy to be trick a teenager vs. a adult. It also states how not everything is how it seems. That although someone talks calm and is smooth doesn't mean you can trust them.

Dishonest mouth put away from you, deceitful lips put far from you. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭24‬ NABRE)

No matter what age or time you live in, there are always lies. This proverb try's to tell you to resist the urge to lie. To never deceive or lie to another person.

Let your eyes look straight ahead and your gaze be focused forward. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭25‬ NABRE)

This relates to a modern teenage life because it is hard to stay focused. It is even harder to stayed concentrated with all the distractions of life. From tv's, video games, friends, to phones there are a lot of distractions around us.

My son, keep my words, and treasure my commands. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭7‬:‭1‬ NABRE)

This proverbs says that those who are older and wiser have good advice. You should always take any advice or wisdom given to you so you become wiser. If you are given advice you should listen and keep it until you need it.
