WHAT IS PTSD?

  • PTSD(post traumatic stress disorder) is a an event that occurs when you are witnessed a traumatic event.
  • Veterans are the most common with PTSD.
  • Symptoms include nightmares, depression, emotionally cut-off, flasbacks, irritated, and anxious.
  • Behaviors include hyper vigilant, constant drugs and alcohol, thoughts of suicide, isolated.
  • 2 types of treatment include counseling and medication.

  • He is emotionally cut-off from his family because he stated that he doesn't love anyone.
  • He recently returned from world war 1.
  • The bacon fat is hardened to the plate, symbolizing his own heart.
