Habitat

  • 30 species of Puffer Fish live in fresh water.
  • They swim in warm water.
  • They live in the Atlantic, the Pacific, and the Indian Ocean.

Food

  • They eat hard food.
  • They eat krill and hermit crabs.

Life Cycle

  • There eggs float.
  • The mother lays 7 to 30 eggs.
  • They are covered in a thin shell for 10 days.

  • They are called blowfish, swellfish, and globfish.
  • They have enough poison to kill 30 people!
