Queen Hatshepsut was born as a princess.

She had a very devastating childhood because all of her brothers and sisters died when she was very young.

Marriage and childbirth

She became queen when she married her half brother, but later she took full power of Egypt as a Pharaoh.

Queen Hatshepsut and her half brother had a daughter named Neferure.

She was known for being very spiritual and a very powerful women.

She ruled for almost 20 years.

She was known for having a relatively peaceful rule.

She demanded to be treated like any other male Pharaoh.

Sometimes she would even dress up in men's clothing.

She got married at 12 years old.

Believed to be lost the mummy of queen Hatshepsut was finally identified in June 2007 when a tooth was found to be an exact match for a gap found in her upper jaw.
