R: Rumble
After Johnys death, the socs and greasers had a rumble. A rumble is where two groups get into a fight. This fight was a fist fight, but usually it consist of guns.

S: Sodapop
Sodapop is Pomeyboy and Darry's brother. He's 16 years old and dropped out of school. He is the middle brother.
T: Two- Bit
Two-Bit was one of the gang. Two- Bit is the second oldest of the gang, he hangs out with Poneyboy and his brothers a lot. Two-Bit also was the only one for a while with a switch blade.
U: Upset
Everyone was very upset with the death of Johhy and Dally. Poneyboy was doing quite bad in school, the death of the boys took a major affect. Darry had to explain you have to fight through.

V: victory
There was a rumble between the socs and the greasers. The greasers won . Greasers had there own victory after Haveing nothing.

W: weak
After saving all those kids, Poneyboy was very week. He slept from Sunday-Tuesday. Johnny was in worse condition then Poneyboy.

X: xtreme
Johnny was injured in xtreme cases. He wasnt aloud to see anyone except family because his conditions were so xtreme. He had burnt skin, and there was no chance of surviving.
Y: yelling
All Ponyboy and Darry do is yell at each other. Ponyboy doesn't believe that Darry understands him. Darry sacrifices all for the boys.

Z: zoo
Poneyboy had to wrote a paper at the end of the year. His grades were really bad and In order to pass he would have to write this paper. At first, he wanted to write about the zoo.
