MUSIC

• We love to dance and at any party, there is always music playing
• The music that we commonly listen to is cumbia, bachata and duranguense
• Cumbia originated in Colombia's Caribbean coastal region, from the musical and cultural fusion of the native columbians
• But it was reinvented in the late 70's in Mexico
• It is the most favored genre to dance at a party

FOOD

• My mom makes tacos taste good
• Tacos are from Mexico and is made out of maize
• My mom makes salsa with every dish of food that she makes
• The types of salsas varies from red to green and is also a dance
• My mom makes rice with every single dish that she makes no matter what

• Most Mexicans are Christians or catholic
• I am a Roman Catholic and I believe in Jesus Christ
• Roman Catholic came to Mexico from Spain in the 1800s
• We are strong believers and with fate, god will look after us
• After kids get baptized, they throw a big party and play music because their kids have been baptized
