Why we chose this man?

We chose this man because most people use the car everyday and without his guideline of his/our automobile, we could never have the cars and buses etc... we have today.

For sometime Ferdinand Verbiest worked as a diplomat and cartographer, and also as a translator, because he spoke Latin, German, Dutch, Spanish, Hebrew, and Italian. He wrote more than thirty books.

WHAT MADE HIM GREAT?

  • He started the production of vehicles
  • He started a chain of inventions that led to the automobile
  • He has now helped Ford in a way by giving him a blueprint
  • He spoke 6 languages
  • He had 3 successful jobs before making his greatest invention
