  • He was born January 12th 1856 and died April 4th 1919
  • He was the United States 26th president.

ROUGH RIDERS

  • The people in the rough riders were men from the western frontiers.
  • They varied from college kids to coal miners to policemen.
  • If you could ride a horse and work a gun you could be a rough rider
  • They were from the ages of 16 and up

SAN JUAN HILL

  • The United States caused a blockade onto the harbor entrance
  • The U.S army corp landed in Cuba
  • They planned on marching all the way to Santiago.
  • The launched a sea attack, resulting in a win for the U.S.

AFTER :)

  • Teddy was elected president after president McKinley died in 1901
  • He also received the first ever Nobel peace prize.
  • Teddy was a very important man
  • One of the greatest presidents we have had.
