System 44 is an intense 90 minute foundational reading and phonics intervention which is intended for the most challenged readers in grades 3-12.

  • Simple organization that is done for you.
Read 180 relies upon a high degree of individualization and differentiation. There is a clear and simple organization to the class. Students begin each session with whole-group instruction that engages the entire class. In between students break into group and rotates through three stations for small-group and independent learning. The class end with a wrap up.

Writing instruction is differentiated and covered in rotations and on instructional software. Instruction is scaffolded for struggling writers and uses techniques such as graphic organizers, sentence starts and writing forms.
