PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Clefs are the symbols placed upon a staff that identify the pitches of notes. Some even give you a clue of how to read them.
The four most common clefs are the treble, alto, tenor and bass clefs. The tenor and alto look the same. You can identify them by looking at which one is higher and that would be the tenor clef.
A staff is a set of 5 lines where musical notation is held. It helps the clef show what note it's trying to show.
The musical alphabet goes: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and repeating. These are the 7 unique letter names we use on certain positions on a staff.
