INFORMATION

  • The Authors name is Hiromu Arakawa
  • This genre selections are Adveture, Science Fantasy

MAIN CHARECTERS

  • Edward Elric: He is hot headed but quite brave and heroic and is always looking for a fight.
  • Alphonse Elric: The neutral brother he is very kind his body was destroyed when trying to revive their dead mother.
  • Winry Rockbell:She is a intellectual genius, she has a sweet spirit but it can get fiery at times.
  • Roy Mustang: A national alchemist he has a guiding personality, and his job is to keep Edward in check.
  • Scar (not on the picture): He has a harsh, dangerous personality, he is a hands of lightning alchemist, treated like a villian by the national society Edward sees him as a hero.

The Initiating Conflict
Edward and Alphonse lose their mother in a fire, upset with her death they train to preform rival alchemy. Sadly when they tried it Alphonse's body was vaporized and
one of both Edward's arms and legs were blown to bits. They are searching the world as national alchemists trying to find the philosophers stone to get Alphonse's body back and revive their mother. There are a few villains out there a dastardly trio of Homunculi (Demonic Alchemist) Lust (her hair has magical powers.), Gluttony (the demonic symbol on his tongue allows him to eat anything and and anybody to quench his endless hunger.), and Envy (the ability to turn into whatever he wants.)

RISING ACTION

  • They at first find a man who says he has the great philosophers stone, but they discover that it was a fraud.
  • Then they find that they are being followed by the deadly three ( see slide four for info on the deadly three.) a dangerous group homonculi who are trying to hunt them down and kill them.
  • They find a true philosophers stone but it was then destroyed before the brothers could find it.

Now how will they find the philosophers stone, and how do they use it, and what will they use it from?

The message that I think the author is trying to express is that you should not give up on your family and friends, and always fight for what is right.

The star rating I give for this book is a four, it is a great book with tons of action, and suspense, with good morals.

People with an extreme personality, but they know how to live through the dramatic parts. Also the people who are all about drama but would to see a lot of action parts.
