  • E.W. Marland was born on May 8th, 1974. He died in 1926.
  • He went to the University of Michigan Law School.
  • He was a governor of Oklahoma and U.S. Representative.
  • He would borrow money from a bank, because he got poor a lot.
  • He lived in a huge mansion in Ponca City.

TONKAWA INDIANS

  • There are three types of groups called Ewipaine, Mayeye, and Yojuane.
  • They fought a lot of their neighbors.
  • In 1770 they became friends with the Spanish.
  • They reached Ponca in June 29.
  • On June 30, 1885 they went to Oklahoma.

AMES ASTROBLEME MUSEUM

  • 450 million years ago there was a meteor that hit what is now Ames, Ok.
  • Its diameter was 1,000 feet.
  • The museum is named after the astroid known as Astrobleme.
  • It has different types of information about the astroid.
  • It's a nice place.
