Habitat

  • Red Foxes live in forests,grasslands,mountains,and deserts
  • Red Foxes can also adapt to living on farms and living in suburban areas.
  • Foxes prefer wooded areas like forests.
  • For Breeding season foxes build dens until the next season

Animal Characteristics

  • A Red Fox weighs between 6 1/2 and 24 pounds.
  • Red Foxes have a red bushy tail with a white tip.
  • Red Foxes have pointed black ears.
  • Red Foxes have orange fur on their backs and white fur on their chest.

Food

  • Red foxes are omnivores.
  • Red Foxes mainly eat small animals like rabbits, ect.
  • If they can Red Foxes will eat fruits like grapes, and berries.
  • Sometimes Foxes will come into a town and rummage through garbage.
