PRESENTATION OUTLINE

HELLO 😏

RED SCARE

SACCO AND VANZETTI

WHAT IS THE RED SCARE?

THE FEAR THAT COMMUNIST, SOCIALIST, AND ANARCHISTS WOULD TAKE OVER THE U.S

THE RED SCARE LASTED

FROM 1919-1921

FEDERAL EMPLOYEES WERE BEING INVESTIGATED

TO SEE IF THEY WERE LOYAL TO THE U.S. GOVERNMENT

EVERYONE WAS GOING CRAY CRAY

MANY PEOPLE WERE BEING THROWN IN JAIL

JUST FOR EXPRESSING THEIR VIEWS

JUST LIKE NICOLA SACCO AND BARTOLOMEO VANZETTI.

ON APRIL 15, 1920

2 MEN ROBBED AND MURDERED A MAN IN SOUTH BRAINTREE, MASSACHUSETTS.

THEEE WEEKS LATER, SACCO AND VANZETTI

WERE ARRESTED FOR BEING "SUSPICIOUS PERSONS"

THEY WERE BOTH ITALIAN IMMIGRANTS

AND VOWED ANARCHIST.

IN THEIR TRIAL, WITNESSES FOR PROSECUTION WERE COACHED

AND EVIDENCE WAS FABRICATED.

BUT THEY WERE FOUND GUILTY

AND KILLED BY THE ELECTRIC CHAIR

TO THIS DAY NO ONE KNOWS

IF THEY BOTH ACTUALLY DID IT

JUST BECAUSE THEY WERE

OPEN WITH BEING ANARCHISTS.
