GENITAL WARTS

WHAT IS IT?

  • It is a viral STD
  • Caused through direct skin contact during sexual intercourse
  • It can cause itchy-ness, pain during urination, etc.

SYMPTOMS

  • Small, flesh-colored or gray swellings in genital area
  • Bleeding
  • Itching, dicomfort
  • Men, may occur in the scrotum or the anus
  • Females, may make it hard to reproduce.

TREATMENT

  • It Can Be Treated. Most often, our bodies fight it off.
  • Prescription genital wart treatments.
  • Can be removed by freezing them, Cryotherapy.
  • Or burned off, Electrocauterization.
  • However, some treatments may have risks or side effects

COMPLICATIONS

  • May include:
  • Cancer in the genital areas.
  • Problems during pregnancy.
