Atheism
In modern day society atheists are looked down upon. We as a whole are looked at in many different ways and people think that just because we don't have the same religious view as you that we as people are completely different.

Atheism
In the U.S. seven different state constitutions consist of a religious test that would prevent Atheists from holding public office.

Atheism
A study held in 2006 showed that 40% of the respondents characterized atheists as a group that "did not all agree with my vision of American society", and that 48% of the people wouldn't let there child marry an atheist.

Examples of discrimination against Christians

Phillips owns Masterpiece Cake shop in the Denver suburbs. He was asked to make a cake for a gay couple and he refused because of his religion which is christian. The couple want to force Phillips to violate his beliefs. Colorado’s Civil Rights Commission agrees with them

At Atlantic University. Ryan Rotela was told by his professor to write Jesus Christ’s name on a piece of paper and stomp on it. Rotela defiantly refused and in retaliation, a formal disciplinary action was started against him.

977, Christians in Israel and the occupied territories protested a new law passed by the Israeli parliament making it illegal for missionaries to proselytize Jews. The law made missionaries liable to five years’ imprisonment for attempting to persuade people to change their religion, and three years’ imprisonment for any Jew who converted.
