EGYPTIAN GOD FACTS

• There is over 2000 gods
• Osiris the god of underworld was one of the most worshipped gods
• God were often represented with crocodiles,rams, and lions
• When the pharaoh died egyptions thought he would become a god
• The pharaoh was believed to be part man and part god

AFTERLIFE

• The body was wrapped in cloth and it would also contain jewels and amulets
• In the tomb of the decreased they would also place drinks,,food,and riches
• They had many different rituals which included mummifacation
• They wanted to preserve the body for as long as possible after death to allow the spirit to have a place to reside

• Mut the mother goddess
• Osiris the king of living
• Ra the god of sun & radiance
• Horus the god of vengeance

WHAT THEY BELIEVED IN THEIR RELIGION

• They believed that if they dont wrap the body the spirit will perish
• They believed that they had to store the organs of a dead body
• They believed that after forty days they needed the dead body to be stuffed
