ATHEISM

THEISM

  • Def: Belief in the existence of a god or gods, especially belief in one god as creator of the universe, intervening in it and sustaining a personal relation to his creatures.
  • I chose this image because in Hindu mythology, we believe that Vishnu is the creator of the universe and that he also intertwines with things going on to preserve his devotees.

AGNOSTICISM

  • Def: One who believes it impossible to know anything about God or about the creation of the universe and refrains from commitment to any religious doctrine.
  • I chose this image because it shows how agnostics are not completely certain that their statement is true whereas atheists and theists are.

MONOTHEISM

  • Def: The doctrine or belief that there is only one God.
  • I chose this image because it restates the definition by showing one finger that pointed towards the bright part of the sky otherwise heaven.
