PRESENTATION OUTLINE
RELIGION: The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.
CONNECTION: This is a church where Christian people go, and Christianity is a religion in which you believe in a god.
ADHERENT: A person who follows or upholds a leader, cause, etc.; supporter; follower.
CONNECTION: This person is Jewish so they follow the ideas that go with Judaism and follow the leader of the Jewish religion.
TENET/BELEIF: A tenet is a principle or belief honored by a person or, more often, a group of people.
CONNECTION: These people are honoring the beliefs of Buddhism.
MONOTHEISM: The doctrine or belief that there is only one God.
CONNECTION: This girl is reading the bible showing that she believe in the Christian religion and the Christian religion has a god.
POLYTHEISM: The belief in or worship of more than one god.
CONNECTION: These people believe in the Hindu religion and that has more than one God.
ATHEISM: Disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods.
CONNECTION: This girl is holding up a sign stating/protesting that there is no God in her beliefs.
THESIM: Belief in the existence of a god or gods, especially belief in one god as creator of the universe, intervening in it and sustaining a personal relation to his creatures.
CONNECTION: The hand is showing what peope believe God did (create the world).
