RELIGION

Religion: The belief in, or of, a superhuman controlling power

I picked this because it's a cross, and the cross is the symbol of Christianity, and Christianity is a major religion

Adherent: Someone who subscribes to one particular party, person, or idealogy

I did this picture because it's a Hindu god, and Hindus adhere to Hinduism and its gods

Tenet: A principle or belief

I did this because I subscribe to the tenet that this is adorable.

Monotheism: The belief that there is only one God

I did this because the man looks to be praying, and praying is a major part of monotheistic religions

Polytheism: The belief that there is more then one God, or a pantheon of Gods

Polytheism is the belief in more then one God, and the Greek gods were prime examples of polytheism, and BAAM Greek architecture!!

Atheism: The disbelief, or lack of belief, in any God(s)

What is that there you see? A flying turtle with elephants standing on its shell with a galaxy on their head flying through space? Let's say that this was an actual religion, and the turtle is God. If that was a major monotheistic religion, I too would be an atheist.

Agnosticism: The belief that nothing is known, or can be known, about any supernatural being or deity

In this picture, a person is looking up into the sky. What is in there? Who is in there? Most likely that is what they're asking themselves, and that is a question most agnostics ask.

Theism: Belief, or lack of belief, in God, or a set of Gods

Oh, looky there! The word hope written in a brick! Oh looky there too! The definition of theism! I could not have possibly used this picture because whatever religion, or lack of religion, we believe in it gives us hope nonetheless, right? Right? Right?....
