Reptile Orders

• Crocodilia - caiman
• Sphenodontia - tuatara
• Squamata - lizards, snakes
• Testudines - terrapin

• Shorebirds - puffin
• Diurnal raptors - hawk
• Nocturnal raptors - burrowing owl

Traditional classification based on similarities in structure and function. Now DNA is used for classification.
