TO REPTILES ...

The story of the change..
The lobe fish was one of the first fish to develop lungs and then went on to develop "land animal like features" such as leg like bones in their fins and a stronger skeleton, and a better nostril system.
Even later on they began to grow "hands and feet" they started to lose their tails and the back bone grew stronger. As they began to live on land for good they started to lay eggs on land too which was much better they eggs had a better chance of staying with the mother and their were less predators to steal them.

Crocs are a large group and are semi-aquatic predators that haven't changed much since the beginning. They are great for the water because they have an extra transparent eyelid that will close to protect. They also have s little flap at the back of their throat to stop water from coming in when getting prey underwater. The males are very territorial. But the females lay their eggs on land close to water in nests made of grass and mud like gunk. Females will still care for young after they hatch.

SQUAMATA

SNAKES AND LIZARDS

This group is distinguished by their skins, which bear scales or shields. Some are made more for living and preying for food on the water and then some adapted to be on land more. They reproduce sexually and but then the female will lay eggs. Some are poisonous and have killed many people around the world! There are quite a few extinct species and some that are endangered and zoos and wildlife preservations are trying to save them.

TESTUDINES

TURTLES

These are different because of their bony shells which develop from their ribs. And some live in saltwater and some live In fresh water. These are the oldest reptile group. Turtles are ectothermic which their internal body temp changes with the surrounding temp. They also reproduce sexually and lay eggs on land.

LIZZARD BUT NOT QUITE LIZZARD THINGS

This group is almost completely extinct but two species left. They are basic all a mix between a snake and a lizard. K so they aren't much different than the rest besides they look funny and are pretty much completely extinct!

I LIKE TURTLES! ;)
