Consider These Questions

  • Do AU students use Snapchat or Twitter more?
  • What TV shows are the most popular at AU?
  • Are phones a distraction to AU students during class?

How about these?

  • Do students who use Twitter more than Snapchat read more news stories?
  • What TV shows are the most popular at AU and why do students watch these shows?
  • During a typical AU class, how many times do AU students use their phones or laptops for something unrelated to class content? Is there any correlation between this and students' GPA?

What Is Your Hypothesis to the Question?

Hypothesis: a proposed explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation

What would be the best research methods?

Should 2 methods be used?

Participants?

How many? Is it "AU Students" or a specific group?
