THE THING THAT LETS YOU BREATHE!

WHY YOU NEED IT!

  • The respirtory system supplies oxygen to the circular system.
  • The respirtory system also allows you to breathe and live.
  • You need oxygen other wise your other systems will shut down

HOW IT GOES!

  • You take a breathe through your mouth or nose.
  • As the air goes through the nasel cavity it is warmed and moistened.
  • It then goes down the trechea and a valve that doesnt let food down.
  • After the trechea it enters the bronchi in the lungs.
  • It then reaches alveoli which does the exchange between blood and oxygen.

  • Asthema
  • Pneumonia
  • Acute Bronchitis
  • Tuberculosis

WAY TO MAINTAIN IT!

  • Smoking is a no no.
  • Stay away from smaug.
  • Try to stay in clean air as much as possible.

FACTS!

  • Most animals that have a spine have 2 lungs.
  • Lungs let you breathe and move your muscles.
  • You can live with only 1 lung.
  • Both your lungs can be very different.

WHAT THEY DO!

  • Mouth and Nose- Take the air in a warm and moisten it.
  • Trechea- This is the pipe for air and has a valve to keep food out.
  • Lungs- This holds the air while it being distributed.
  • Bronchi- This splits the air into the alvoli.
  • Alvoli- This is where the air is exchange and put in the blood.
