NOSE

  • The only exterior part of the respiratory system.
  • When ait enters the nose, the nose traps dust and dirt.
  • The nose also heats the air.

PHARNYX

  • The pharnyx is 5 inch long muscular passageway.
  • Commonly called the throat.
  • The pharnyx helps you not breathe in your food.

LARNYX

  • Also known as the voice box.
  • The larnyx prevents food from making it to the lungs.
  • Is firmed by 8 hyaline cartilages.

TRACHEA

  • Also known as the windpipe.
  • Longest part if the respritory system.
  • Helps air flow.

BRONCHI

  • Place for air to pass through
  • Rings of cartlidge to keep open.
  • Biggest branches if the lungs.

BRONCHIOLES

  • Place for air to pass through.
  • Doesnt contain cartlidge or air.
  • The end of the system.
